I'm bored. I'm in the middle of making a pumpkin beer and have 50 min left on the boil. Here's the recipe...

8 lb Pale LME
2.5 lb 2-row
1 lb Crystal 20
.5 lb Biscuit
.5 Carapils
.5 Munich 20
.25 Flaked Oats
.5 Dark Brown Sugar
60 oz pumpkin puree
1tsp allspice
1 tsp clove
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
4 oz vanilla extract
2 tbs pumpkin pie spice
2 whirlfloc tabs

1 oz Magnum
.5 oz Saaz

WLP005 - British Ale

I've been 'steeping' 4-5 lbs of grain for 60-90min on all my batches and adding LME/DME to that. This will be my 9th batch...here's what else I've brewed...

Imperial Red Rye Ale - a la Bear Republic
Belgian IPA - a la Houblen Chouffe
Amber - a la Levitation
Saison
Rye Pale Ale - a la Terrapin
Dunkel - a la Weihenstephaner
Blueberry Wit
DIPA

The Red, Belgian IPA, Amber, and Pale have turned out the best so far. Next up,......a Black IPA ala Hop in the Dark.

Happy fall brewing!!!:mug::mug::mug:

during the boil.

I spread it on a cookie sheet and baked it for 45 min at 375F while the grains were steeping. It had a nice dark golden crust on it when I took it out. I sprinkled it with a tsp of pumpkin pie spice while it was roasting. The wort is cooling now.....
