Aaaah, no more swarms of bees fighting hoards of kazoos. Some non-WC games this past week have had the occasional "BWAA" from 1 of the vuvuzela but I don't mind that; that's been around for years at soccer and hockey matches.

Yeah, I'm a bit confused by the fact that people are saying that they're a
"new phenomenon", and that infographic claims they were first produced in 2001. That's bollocks, I remember them from going to DC United games way back, right around when the MLS started - we used to use them as beer bongs when we were tailgating before matches. They were really popular with the Hispanic folks who went to the games, and I think they've been around in Mexico for ages.
