Has anyone tried, before bottling, adding vitamin B6, B12, Potasium, or any other herbs, vitamins, or minerals to try a "HEALTH" or "less of a hangover" cider or beer?

I know potasium sorbate is a preservative that will eff my cider carbing, but can you just use a disolvable potasium suppliment or other disolvable vitamins? I also thought of st. johns wort, a mood enhancer. CAN IT BE DONE?

Thank you ahead of time for comments, advice, and know how.

YOu better know what you are doing with something like that. Vitamins and minerals are less of a concern, but many herbs active ingredients turn into other things in the presense of alcohol. I like the idea, but I'd want a pro's advice.

There's a few meads that I've seen on here like that. Try gotmead.com as well. IMO, the thought of a 'healthy alcohol' is kind of an oxymoron.

I got the idea from a micro brewery out in cali. They add un-named vitamins and minerals to beers. The best I could figure from research it must be B6, B12, and Potasium which lead to hang overs accompanied by dehydration. Which conjuncts with the vitamin C you get from certain yeasts and juices (organic apple juice). So I was thinking about trying it with one gallon, of my 5 gallon batch of cider to see how it turns out.

put all the vitamins and minerals you want in beer, the vast majority won't be absorbed by the stomach lining in the presence of alcohol. it will make your urine a pretty color though!
this is why i drink so much wine. if you only get 1/5 of the vitamins out of a glass of wine because of the alcohol, i should drink 5 glasses right? that way i get all the vitamins out of the first. makes sense to me.
