I don't know. Perhaps they are. A "vile" might be the plurality of yeast containers that have gone bad, and they bought a whole case of them. Therefore they have bought a vile of yeast!:mug:

The internet is FULL of grammatical errors. This site is no exception.

But reading, we usually know what they meant to say, even though they use the wrong words, tense, etc.

Relax, breathe. Have a home brew.

Yeah, who cares about crap we learned in second grade. We're not supposed to remember that simple stuff right? It's ok to proliferate illiteracy.

I am relaxed now and I am having a homebrew while waiting for my Cascade Wildfire to cool. It is a brew with Maris Otter, C-75, Oak Smoked Wheat Malt, C-120,
Roasted Barley, and Peat smoked malt. Columbus bittering hops and Cascade and Centennial at flame out. BRY-97 American West Coast yeast.

There a few grammatical errors that just get to me. There, their, they're and then or than are a couple.........

Anyone that has brewed more than 2 beers should no the difference between vile and vial.......

It's interesting you bring this up. Did you know that 20% of the people in the United States are illiterate? 10% are functionally illiterate, and 10% are completely illiterate.

Here is another surprise, this statistic is not old. It's current. And one more surprise too. This statistic only includes people who was born citizens and has gone to school in the U.S.A. their whole lives. So, you can't blame an influx of folks from Mexico for skewing the numbers.

In the state where I live the numbers are worse than the national 20%. In Kentucky the numbers are double the national average.
