Here's a display stand I made for my yeast vials.

It's a 2x4 drilled with a 1 1/8" wood boring bit. It's about 22" long and holds 28 vials.

I was uncertain about the measurements and drilled 4 holes longer than my fridge door so I just cut the piece off which gave me another stand for 4 vials.:D

It also allows me to place the vials in numerical order so I can find what I'm looking for faster (I am not anal...);)

The second pic is some of my washed yeast in baby food jars.

That's a pretty impressive collection you've got there! Looks good. I'm assuming that most of those are yeasts that you've washed and are saving?

Actually, the vials are the originals (except for the empty ones on the right...).

I have more empties that I want to refill with washed yeast, but the ink on the original printed labels keep washing off...:( I could always put new labels on the vials.;)

I store my washed yeast in the baby food jars. Labeled with the number (WLP###), style, date bottled, batches used in and generation.

Sorry, I edited the original post to use smaller pictures and they went out of order. I guess I could delete and reenter the one that's out of order. There that worked...

That's a great idea. I think i'll need to make myself one!

Mine are now sitting scrambled on the shelf in the fridge with everything else in there.
