I have searched but am wallowing around way too many threads...

A local farmer gave me a couple of pounds of raw wheat and I was looking to incorporate the wheat into a recipe. I'll be doing my second AG this weekend and am looking for a thread that someone may have found helpful - a discussion and/or recipe - so I can see how to add the wheat to the brew.

Am I making sense?

When you find the answer, let me know. I have about 3 tons of wheat that I could use.
If you find how to use rye safely, I have about 4 tons of that too.

Mill it, do a cereal mash then add it to the main mash in the tun.

Well, let's see... start with a REALLLLLLY big fermenter...

+! on that thought although I think I might consider giving it at least a quick rinse and dry before milling.

When short of wheat malt I've supplemented with plain old wheat flour from the supermarket at about 50¢/lb. Brew got a bit more cloudy than optimal, but tasted super-good.
