I will be using the iodophor sanitizer tonight to sanitize my frementation bucket, the airlock, and the lid, along with the utensils as well, I am assuming that I should sanitize the thermometer as well correct?

Anything that touches the wort after you stop the boil needs to be sanitized.

how long should I leave the sanitizer in the bucket before it's considered cleaned?

I use star san which is 30 second but I think iodiphor is 1-2 minutes(?)

Should say on container. I'm pretty sure it's 1 minute. But also should be the correct dilution.

Could be wrong, but I was under the impression that you should let it sit for around 10 min with Iodophor.

Actually, smyrnaquince is correct about the Iodophor and Star San is 1-2 minutes when diluted to 300ppm/1oz to 5 gallons of water.

I believe the Iodophor contact time is based on a .5oz per 5 gallon dilution rate or 12.5ppm!
