Using fresh grapefruit zest in my ipa

Looking for advice brewing IPA with fresh grapefruit zest in my Grainfather.
using ugly fish clone kit !

I wait until kegging and make a “tea” with the grapefruit zest.
I boil the zest for a few minutes and let it steep until cool. Drain off the liquid and add to the keg before adding your beer.
I use about 3 cups of the tea to 6 gal.
