Not to mention,getting the wort & top off water mixed well 1st.

For future reference follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. This often (but not always) includes rehydrating your yeast.

And I took the hydrometer reading before I poured the wort into the fermenting bucket. So, with no top off and having already taken a hydrometer reading, will it affect the outcome of my beer. I usually do follow the instructions pretty carefully, but with the common practice of drinking while brewing, it caught up with me. Thanks guys. We will see in a few weeks.
