Visited the mother in law today, and she showed where the hops at her place were growing..it's been at it for atleast 15 years there and taken over a whole corner of the wall.

All I know about it is that she took a rhizome about 15 years ago from an old friends farm, the farm has been there for 150+ years and the lady didn't know who planted it, but it is pre-ww2 and likely from when Finland was still part of the Swedish empire.

I'm guessing it is an old german variety and it has been used for brewing as that was common on farms back then.

Any hop historians wanting to make a guess? I'll post cone pictures later this year, but for now:
