After bottling my first beer last night, I looked at a few of my bottles and realized I'd left way too much head space, in some cases more than an inch of air between the beer and the cap. Should I pour these back into my bottling bucket and redistribute? I used about 4 oz. of priming sugar in about 4.75 gallons of beer if that helps.

An inch between the cap and beer is typical for me. That's about the amount of beer the bottle filler displaces, leaving that headroom when I withdraw it.
