twist off caps

Just wondering if it is ok to cap twist off bottles or will the pressure just cause them to blow off and you to lose beer?

I actually ran out of bottles once and had to grab some empty Blue Moon bottles. Filled 6 and didn't have any problems or off flavors, but I probably would not do it again.
