I'm brand new to home brewing and I've just finished my first 5 gallon batch of Kolsch (aging in bottles as we speak). I used a partial grain recipe kit first batch and it came out well! It will be a while before I make the jump to all-grain brewing but I still want to tweak recipes to make them unique. I'm not sure at which stages of the process could be done differently to add aroma or flavor profiles. If anyone has some tips or tricks they don't mind sharing I would be extremely grateful

Cheers,
Clay

What do you want to tweak? What's wrong with this recipe that needs to be changed?

The recipe turned out to meet my expectations. I just want to know what things I can do to strengthen/weaken flavor and add flavor to these kitted beers

I have heard that full volume boils make a big difference in flavor. The brew kettle I have now won't hold five gals of boiling wort. So I can't speak from experience.

There are so many things possible in partial mash brewing that it's impossible to answer your question.
