TW Fry's Oktober-fesque Ale

Here is my first "original" recipe, which is a modification of EdWort's Haus Pale Ale. It's a bit Oktoberfest-ish, but not exactly. I love Ocktoberfests, but I was going for something a shade lighter, and wanted to see what Cascades do aroma-wise. What do you guys think? I bought the ingredients today, and will likely brew some time this week.

6.5# Pilsner LME
1# Munich LME
1# CaraPils (steep)
8 oz. Crystal 10L (steep)

Boil & Hops
1.0 oz Hallertau at 60 min.
0.5 oz. Cascade at 30 min.
0.25 oz. Cascade at 15 min.
0.25 oz. Cascade at 5 min.

Chill to 70 to 75 degrees

Before it's too late, is there anything anyone would change? Suggestions?

I've never brewed an Oktoberfest as an ale, but to my knowledge that sounds pretty good. I don't know how the mix of noble and American hops is going to go over, but should be fine, since the noble hop is only used for bittering. Typically I don't do 30 minute hops, but that's just personal preference, I guess. I'll do a 60 min addition and/or FWH and if the style calls for hop flavor and/or aroma, I'll do late additions at 15 minutes and lower. I don't know if the 70 to 75 F is your intended fermentation temperature, but I would try and ferment closer to 65 F if you can. I recently brewed a pumpkin ale with a little Cascade late hops that played very well with the pumpkin spices. I think your Cascade late hops will go well in the beer you're brewing. Maybe an American Octoberfest Ale? Good luck. Cheers!

I'm with Nuke. I've gone way back on 30 minute additions. I like that fragrant punch you get with late additions. Half ounce at 10 and half ounce at flameout will give you the aroma and flavor.
