Tubing Question

So, I managed to find all of my Co2 system locally...except I haven't bought tubing. Its really really not worth it to buy tubing online.(S&H). Does lowes/somewhere like that carry co2 line?If so can I get width measurements/names of specific materials please?

They should. I found red gas line at Menards. It was stuck in with all the other tubing. As for measurements, I'm using 1/4" line and plenty of hose clamps. So far, no leaks.

The stuff I found at Menards was 1/4", so I had to soak it in hot water to get it to fit over the 5/16 connection. But it was a tight fit (that's what she said ) and there have been no leaks.

Bought the 1/4" tube, had to boil it for a sec to make it fit.but its cooled off, tight, and beautiful! appreciated!

Are you talking about the red tubing imparting an off-taste to the CO2 that then gets transferred to the beer in the keg??
