I'm finally getting around to brewing after a lingering knee issue was finally surgically repaired 3 weeks ago.

I decided to brew an IPA, bittering with Horizon FWH. I'm also throwing in 1 oz of centennial at 10 mins, .5 oz simcoe at 5 mins, .5 oz simcoe at flame out.

I really like the combination of simcoe and centennial, when finishing a beer. But I've never tried Horizon. I can't wait to see how this ends up.

I'm also dry hopping it on .5 oz home grown magnum and 1 oz of centennial home grown.

There is a certain amount of excitement. I am very happy to be able to brew some beer for Christmas gifts, this year.
