Eh, I'm normally really pessimistic, but I'd grant a little patience with Treehouse for the hype to die down. Still a new location, still many people who haven't been or tried their beer. It'll be curious to see if they still have these crazy long lines when the weather gets cold. If so, **** this planet.

it does not appear anything has changed
I beg to differ. Each of the last three Thursdays you could have arrived at 5-6pm, waited 15-20 minutes, and walked out with 18-20 cans (3 varieties) per person. The wait time, variety, and allotment were unheard of in the last 1.5-2 years in Monson, so clearly something is changing for the better. The shitheads will still bitch about not getting a "Very" and attempt to corner you in the parking lot trying to trade for your Julius, but the experience is SO much better now. And if you're just looking to drink a pint or two, stop in on a Saturday and enjoy the food trucks, live music, and general atmosphere. If you're there before noon you should even walk away with some cans too.

Agreed. Parked the car today at 6pm, back in 30 minutes. I've never seen a beer line move so fast.

Would recommend 5/7

Went to Tree House today. Beautiful spot, beautiful brewery. Super quick getting through line. Would love to be able come back sometime when they were pouring pints and I had a bit more time.

No fights in the parking lot.

Was there any sort of explanation as to why Tree House randomly canned Lights Out, in the old, ****** label cans, yesterday, as a silent release? Anniversary of something or what? Seems like there has to be a story there.
So Tree House Enthusiasts get their trade equity up a bit after their falling market due to high can limits.

But srsly because Lights Out has never been 'proper' to begin with. Lights On has though.

I think there is a nostalgia thing which also probably has an exciting new feel to a lot of new TreeHouse fans. Lights Out was only released once, beginning of 2015 or so if I remember correctly. Most people who go now have probably never had it.
You may remember all this since you were in closer proximity at the time, but Lights Out original release was a reinterpretation of Curiosity 6 which was made when Tree House closed the Red Barn in Monson. Lights On was a corresponding pale made for the celebration of opening the canning facility across the street. Lights On fit into the hop arrangements they had or their core catalog at the time, so they ran with it.

A buddy contacted me while Krystyna and I were at the DeCordova in Lincoln asking if I was in the area by any chance, as Lights Out was one of a couple TreeHouse he ever missed and was hoping I could snag him some. We managed to get the beers a few hours later on our way home.
Left is a sticker from a big pile Dean gave me years ago.

Hey all, quick question:

I'll be in downtown Boston for work for Mon-Thurs in mid/late January. Any advice if I drive up Wednesday after work (how are the roads this time of year, are cans usually available ~7pm)?

Cheers!

I normally go around that time just about every week and there’s usually a small line and all the cans available, sometimes they even have pours available, it’s a good time to go for sure. Roads shouldn’t be a problem, besides traffic, unless we had a storm that day.
