Same. Love the place, people and beer, but I cannot bring myself to endure what it takes to get beer there for the most part, even with cans being a great packaging format and all.

I still make occasional Wed. can runs since my job affords me the opportunity, but I've given up on attending any other day. It's just become too nuts.

I rolled in on Friday at 7:53 and bought the full allotment of Ma + Doppelganger + the bottle, and filled two growlers. I didn't realize neckbeards had such active Friday night social lives.

I am heading to Boston from Chicago for the weekend and was planning on going to Treehouse on Saturday. But judging by how long it takes to get beer, I am not sure if it's worth the trek. Can it be an all day affair on Saturday? And do they just offer samples, or can you get full pours / drink other beers? Thanks!

Not all day but you should plan to dedicate several hours if you're planning on getting growlers, samples sometimes but not always, no full pours, and no drinking other beers.

Don't expect samples. Go to Trillium instead.

Can line moves fast, you'll want to get there at open though. With 4 canning runs you'll be sure to get something if you are going this weekend. Just keep an eye on the on-tap page: http://treehousebrew.com/on-tap/

Saturday is probably the worst day to go honestly. Usually only a handful of cans are left--they can on Tues/Weds/Thurs/Fri, so by Sat you'll get a small amount of what was canned Thurs and Friday's canning run. You'd be able to get a handful of growlers...

From 45-50 min to 30-35 mins. Closer to Central Ma, but near 395. Happy for them. This is great news.

I've been wondering what they're doing with all the dough they're making.
Easy math: 450 Cases = 10800 cans = $40,500 ($3.75 a can). I don't know what their costs are, but they have to be making at least 20K per batch of beer. I'd guess they're in the 4-5 Million in sales in the last year. Good for them!

My old favorite hobby was counting the amount of cash, in bills, that was flowing into HF before they went digital, and thinking about how that cash was dealt with.

Probably a down payment on a few ****** Mikkeller beers

Haha oh man. Never thought about that. Probably don't have armored trucks up in Greensboro. Picturing Shaun's mom struggling to carry a heavy burlap sack to the bank.
