I was #106 at 4:15 on Thursday. I guess I should avoid Thursdays...

Got there at 10:30 this morning and was 67th in line. Walked out at 12:40 with growlers and cans.

Limit was 5 growlers pp today. JJJuliusss was on and was still flowing when we left. Samples of Ma in the can line, and Trailbreaker/Eureka with Citra in the barn. Had a great time as usual. I was the guy with the wife, 11 month old screaming baby boy, and the super friendly cocker spaniel.

Wish I got to try Trailbreaker. Can't imagine how good TH does one of my fav old style beers. I love me a kellerbier.

I'll be in CT for a few days and plan to go to Treehouse Thursday, July 2 (flying back to GA the next day). It says the hours are 5-8. I'm not sure what time I'll be able to get there. If I get there before 8 will I get beer, or do will the lines be so long that people after a certain time are turned away? I'm assuming it will be quite busy considering it's July 4 weekend, but I will have to do some negotiating with the family in order to get away and it's a 1.5 hour trip each way. Any advice?

As long as you arrive before 8pm, you will get beer. Depending on what is available/if there's a special release, you are probably looking at anywhere from a 45 min - 2+ hour wait for growlers. Cans are a different story. The can line is usually very quick and you can get in and out in probably 20 minutes.

The limit was 5 growlers on Saturday?

Yeah and looks like they are starting with 5 this Thursday as well but that is over the ENTIRE order, not just for that beer. They'll change it to 4 if there is a lot of people.
I was torturing myself as to what my 4th bottle was going to be on Saturday, no idea it got bumped back to 5 haha. I went 3 days in a row and figured Saturday limit was gonna be the same as Thursday and Friday. Rookie move...

They updated the website on Friday evening at 10:30pm stating they expected to start off Saturday with a 5 pp limit. A lot of people on line that day were unaware.

AVAILABLE FOR GROWLER FILLS!

MA (Hoppy Amber Ale - 7.3% ABV) - In commemoration of our head brewer and co-founder’s grandmother’s birthday, we have once again brewed this super fruity yet balanced amber ale! Hints of oranges, tangerines, and stone fruit grace the palate before a sweet malty caramel character provides balance and depth. A real treat that drinks well on any occasion. Happy Birthday, Ma. We love you! (750 ML - $8 | 2L - $16) * Limit 4 total bottles w/up to 2 2L

HAZE (Double IPA - 8.2%) - Our Double IPA We smell a ton of orange on the nose, with complimentary notes of peach and passionfruit. The flavor is similar with a blast of citrus fruit & peach quickly followed by spicy grapefruit/orange, and earthy dankness. A lingering but pleasant saturated hop oil finish awaits. . . . A real juice bomb of a beer. (750 ML - $10 | 2L $20) - * Limit three total bottles w/up to 1 2L *

TRAILBREAKER (Unfiltered Kellerbier - 5.4% ABV) - One of the many Tree House debuts to celebrate our third anniversary is a proper unfiltered German Style Lager! Trailbreaker pours a beautiful golden amber in the glass and emanates fresh malty and floral aromas. The flavor is super refreshing, with soft bitterness and a complex and robust malt character and hints and touches of lager yeast. The brainchild of the one and only Brendan Prindiville, Trailbreaker is a real stunner on a hot summer day, indeed. (750 ML - $7 | 2L $14) - * Limit three total bottles w/up to 1 2L *

EUREKA w/CITRA (American Blonde Ale - 4.1%) - Our summer crusher. . . She explodes with notes of citrus on the nose and the palate, and finishes cleanly with light bits of cracker malt. Someone forgot to tell it that it's only 4.1% alcohol. A beautiful and delicate little beer. (750ML - $7 | 2L - $14) *** Limit four bottles up to 2 2L ***

DOUBLE SHOT - 3rd Anniversary Blend(American Stout - 8.2% ABV) - In the year since it was born, Double Shot has earned a reputation around the brewery as one of our proudest accomplishments. We have learned a ton about the base beer and how it interacts with our favorite coffees. The 3rd Anniversary Blend is a culmination of those efforts! We brewed a bigger base beer than ever to support the addition of Guatemala Finca El Injerto, Hair Bender, and Sumatra Mandheling. The result is a rich and complex coffee beer with flavors and aromas of chocolate covered espresso beans, molasses, and brown sugar cookies… Absolutely wonderful! (750 ML - $10 | 2L - $20) * Limit 2 total bottles w/up to 1 2L *

MORE TO COME...!

*** WE ANTICIPATE STARTING THURSDAY WITH A FIVE BOTTLE LIMIT. ALL LIMITS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME!! ***

How long are the wait times for growlers on Saturday these days? I need to be in Pittsfield by 3pm and would love to swing by TH on the way. What time do I need to be at TH to ensure that I will be back on the road by 1:30? Any advice is appreciated, I haven't made it over there in about a year and its seems like the lines keep getting longer (which is obviously great for them).

We actually had a similar dilemma this past Saturday - we needed to be in Dalton by 2pm. We got there around 10:30am, and were out with growlers and cans by 12:40pm. They had pre-filled about 25 orders by the time the doors opened at 11, and the new girl there told me they average about 25 - 30 orders filled/hour.

On a Saturday in April, I was 50th in the growler line and they didn't get filled until 1:15ish. Got there a little after 10:30 I think.

Krystyna and I were able to leave the House with almost a mixed case of Green and Julius and a mix of hoppy and dark growlers that would make most beer nerds weep. It is an amazing era with treehouse canning and blasting 1offs so frequently.

C17 is the candied dank. The dankest dank since Maine Dinner.

Ugh, I kinda wanted to stay for C17 but I would have been in the 90s for fills (if I had popped out of the can line to drop off the ticket even)

($3.25 / Can - Limit 8 PP)

More to come....

So tempted to just leave work now. But I went to TH last week -- and *might* be headed out that way tomorrow night. Not sure how many cans will be left then.

One would think a bunch of Julius left, no? 500 cases, 12pp... 1000 people. What's a crazy busy night there, 400 people?

Only about 100 cases of Alter Ego though. I am vaguely thinking about going after work, but leaving at 5 usually ends in disaster for me trying to go to TH. Sigh. Was gonna go Saturday morning but I doubt many cans left at that point....
