Looks like Very Green beat at about 9:45 last night. With the limit in place it should not have been able to kick, except for the fact the crowd before 8 kept them open for over half of another shift's worth of time. Bummer though.

what time, realistically, does one need to get there on a Friday? is getting there at ~4:00pm late/mean you're waiting until 7pm for your beer?

It depends on the day, but a 4:00 arrival seems like it puts you around 40-60th lately with nearly every week having some special draw of some sort. Fills are faster than ever now though and even that far back one tends to have jugs in hand by 6:15 (they open at 5). If you want to ensure being close to the front, seems like 3:30 or earlier is the sweet spot- but then you guarantee yourself the wait until open...

I don't actually mind the wait (before open), it's the traffic that will build up between northern NJ and thru CT that drives me nuts. I may have to go early just to avoid that

HAZE (Double IPA - 8.2%) - Our Double IPA We smell a ton of orange on the nose, with complimentary notes of peach and passionfruit. The flavor is similar with a blast of citrus fruit & peach quickly followed by spicy grapefruit/orange, and earthy dankness. A lingering but pleasant saturated hop oil finish awaits. . . . A real juice bomb of a beer. ($4.25 / can - limit 6 PP)
