I have it d-resting now and will probably be ready to transfer for lagering tonight/tomorrow. I was going to move it straight to keg to store in the back of my keggerator for a while.

Do I need to chill both empty keg and lager before transferring? I read that a few places. Id rather just transfer then chill.

There is still some sediment on top and bottom of the primary. Do I really need to avoid transferring this stuff, or just suck it up and into the keg.

Thanks!

If you're careful with your siphon, you should be able to transfer without getting too much of that "stuff" into the keg - just transfer the beer that's above the trub and below the floating crud. That said, you're going to wind up with at least a small amount of junk in the secondary (whether that's a keg like you're using or a carboy) over time. Since yours will be in the keg, you'll probably wind up having to dump the first couple pints you pull off the keg, as those should draw any of that stuff right off the bottom of the keg.
