I have a TAD setup and am currently conditioning a Bitter in one of the old style Coors bottles. I received my new TAD setup and the bottles are different, you can not stand them on there end and they have a hard circle piece on the end of them. Which makes me think I could tap and drill a hole for a CO2 connection. My question is can I transfer the beer after fermentation to the new bottle? This way I would leave behind most of the sediment. As soon as I transfered I would put it the CO2 to it. Should I get it cold before transferring or do everything before putting in the fridge?
Back to these new bottles the center of the bottom of the bottle is really rigid plastic, has anyone else seen this on the new bottles? Do you think this could be used to create a CO2 hookup for dispensing?
