The Veil announced a can release a couple days ago with Bart Simpson on the art(along with a bunch of merch with the same graphic), but got C&D’d pretty quickly.

Already renamed and relabeled for today’s release.

There was also a shirt that got posted separately. Seems they deleted all posts related to it.

Fuggles and Warlock up in Vancouver, BC does something similar with a bunch of video game themed beers.

This was their first label for Destiny IPA, but they finally figured they should change it...

Their artwork is absolutely terrible but you get the idea.

We have a dispute going on just south of Grand Rapids. Railtown Brewing has been in business since 2014. Railbird Taphouse and Brewery intends to open in 2019. Both are located 10 miles apart. Railtown began getting phone calls about job inquires...for Railbird. Railtown owner sits down with Railbird owner, over some beer, offers to help pay Railbird to re-brand and even offers to pay for the lawyer to do it. Railbird says no thanks. Railtown sues and is asking for 3x damages because they allege Railbird acted willfully to infringe on its mark. The GR brewing scene is full of generosity and camaraderie. I can't imagine another brewery helping out Railbird, or whatever name they end up using.

Railtown is a dangerous name:

[Guy picks up girl for first date]

Girl: Where are we headed?
Guy: I'm gonna take you to Railtown.

This stuff is so out of control. Seven Stills is trying to raise over $10M and they can't stop themselves from throwing In-N-Out and Tobias Fünke on their cans.

Thanks for keeping all us lawyers gainfully employed. Stupidity is our lifeblood.

Seven Stills are idiots and not great brewers either..

Omnipollo apparently has to change Noa to Aon because of some herbal sports drink...

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: PLEASE DON’T DRINK IMPERIAL STOUT FOR EXTRA ENERGY. Being copied everyday but receiving “cease and desist letters” weekly from trademark lawyers demanding we change the name of our beers. This one is far fetched but @drinknoa thinks you might mistakably purchase a bottle of our 11% pecan mud cake imperial stout instead of their energy drink Noa Potions we are therefore changing the name of OMNIPOLLO®️ NOA PECAN MUD CAKE®️ to OMNIPOLLO®️ AON®️ PECAN MUD CAKE®️

Can't imagine why anyone might purchase an Omnipollo product and be confused about whether or not they were getting a beer...

I forgot to mention Seven Stills’ unassailable logic:

“In-N-Out is threatening to sue us? Hm. Better post videos of our In-N-Out branded cans at the In-N-Out beverage dispenser.”

“Now what do we do with all this beer we made? **** man. Put Kanye’s face on it. That’ll be safe.”
