Cliffs: GnR suing Oskar Blues over a beer of pretty much the same name

Ha. I saw this on tap at their brewery this past weekend and thought that might be an issue.

According to the article, OB said go **** your mother, we are selling it until 2020.

Interesting.... they apparently were granted a trademark on "Guns n Rose" in December 2018 for beer but the US Patent Office now shows it as Dead/Abandoned as of 5/7/19.

This one was so blatantly obvious (and OB is distributing nationwide) that I assumed they had an agreement.

Since Axl owns the name (I think) and he appears so reasonable in all aspects of life, I’m sure this will work out for OB.
