I drank a '13 Raspberry Dark Origins a few weeks ago, it was fantastic. Had I known you wanted Sump i woulda grabbed more, I already promised a couple of these out. I'll see if I can get one for our next trade.





And barrel aged. Had it a couple times last week, it was great.

Awesome. Keep me posted. I am going to the DeGarde quarterly so I should have some good stuff ready.

And beer mail from my nephew. I couldn't understand why he was buying rolls of bubble wrap each time he shipped to me. He uses the remainder of the roll to fill in the rest of the box. He wraps everything in bubble wrap then uses packing tape to secure it...a lot of tape. These 3 bottles took me 20 minutes to unwrap. Bless his heart. But I'll be talking to him since I said if he's going to do this I'll pay for shipping and packaging. Hah

So the firestones, age or drink? I only have the one of each.

I had a 14 double dba pretty fresh. It was way to sweet for me, can't imagine age is gonna help that... But thought I would give a sugar warning.

I don't think you can go wrong either way. I liked Double DBA a little better young and I liked Sucaba a little better with a couple years on it, but they were all good.

I think they discontinued Double DBA, so enjoy that one.

Yeah, I asked the in-laws to mule a case for me. Then my MIL called to inform me of the price and I quickly settled on a 4-pack.

Yes. Worth the bottle price.

Not according to their Facebook post. Looked like they had about four cases left in the gift shop from what I saw. More in the tasting room.
