I was wondering if this recipe would have too many different types of hops and get muddled. I'm basing it off a Simcoe Amarillo IPA I made that was great. I wanted to make a Pale Ale with a planned OG 1.055 and IBU 45
Hop schedule is
0.50 oz Warrior [17.20 %] (70 min) Hops 29.2 IBU
0.25 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] (20 min) Hops 6.5 IBU
0.25 oz Centennial [10.00 %] (20 min) Hops 5.0 IBU
0.25 oz Amarillo Gold [8.20 %] (20 min) Hops 4.1 IBU
1.00 oz Centennial [10.00 %] (0 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep) Hops -
1.00 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] (0 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep) Hops -
1.00 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] (0 min) (Aroma Hop-Steep) Hops -
Do you think it would be best if I just dropped the Centennial or Simcoe? or could the three be a delicious mix of grapefruit and pine?
