Is it too late to plant hop rhizomes now I live in philly and if not where can I purchase now. I was going to purchase cascade and nugget hops from highhops.net but it seems like most everything is sold out now.

I don't know if it's to late to plant or not but I bought some hop crowns from greatlakeshops.com this year. They have about 15 different varieties if i remember right. They have great customer service and fast shipping. I'd do business with them again.

Nope, not too late. I've put cuttings in the ground later than this with great success. That's if you an find rhizomes at this point as they often sell out.
The purpose of the first grow year is establishing roots and not so much hop production. As long as they come back the 2nd year, the 1st year was not in vain.
