I've been overloaded on dark malty beers (home and craft brews) for the past few colder months. I'm ready to hop things up a bit and brew my first IPA.

Naturally, I'd like to end up with something along the lines of my favorite IPA - Titan IPA from Great Divide. Does anyone out there have a Titan clone recipe? I'm an extract brewer but can hopefully convert an AG recipe if that's all that is available.

Gonna do some calling this morning about the recipe to my buddy who has been working there awhile. I was just thinking I would love to make this ipa!

Would love to get this......I enjoyed that beer while I was in Wyoming last year.:mug:

I tried to get some tips on this from the original brewmaster of Titan, but his response was "If I told you, you'd have to kill me."

So nothing, not even the varities of hops or malts that were used, let alone percentages, etc.

Hmm... that's too bad. Maybe their secret ingredient is the tears of baby bunnies.

Anyway, my next question, does anyone have an IPA recipe that tastes fairly similar to Titan?

So here's the deal, I got a hold of my buddy and he can't give me exact amounts but this is what the run down on the recipe is.... So if someone who's more experienced could give some suggestions on what I'd be looking at as far as actual amounts that would be great, preferably extract but AG is ok I can make the conversion. Enjoy!!

american 2-row, and 5% crystal 75. simcoe and amarillo bittering. amarillo again for flavoring. columbus at end of boil.
And Columbus for dry hopping

Anyone make this beer? I am thinking of trying the recipe next week.
