Hey gang,
Have finally started assembling my HERMS and am the decision point of: "Hoses, Copper or Stainless?" for the plumbing. I'm thinking that I'm going to go with copper because I prefer the idea of hard piping and can get copper easier than stainless. I've read some of the posts of folks talking about the pros and cons of copper over stainless, seems that its mainly due to the possibility of having verdigris in the copper if you don't clean well. Rather than get into a debate of the advantages of one over the other, I'd like to just ask: Has anyone had any problems with their copper? Something that caused to you switch to hose or stainless? (other than stainless being "shiny"). Any particular tips or hints on working with or soldering your copper pipes? (looks pretty straight forward to me, but...)
Thanks
