Hey guy and gals,

I just wanted to see if anyone had some tips about having better control over your temperature on a propane burner. Yesterday was the first time I ude it and did full batch (an extract recipe) and I had trouble keeping my grains steeping at 155 degrees.

Cheers

No tips except to tell you that for steeping the grains the temperature isn't very critical. As long as you were somewhere between 100 and 200 you were probably just fine. The main reason to have you steeping the grains at 155 temp is if you decide to go to partial mash or all grain brewing the temperature is critical and steeping at 155 is good practice for that.
