I just picked up 50' of 1/2 ID copper tubing off Craigslist. Since I couldn't get in on the deal at HD, I opted to see which enterprising buyer of the HD copper threw their haul up on CL. I didn't see any of that, but this kind old man is selling off 2 more boxes of 50' copper tubing at $40 a pop.
You have to drive to his place in Knightdale, it's not a terrible drive at all from Raleigh. A woman will be the person you'll call/e-mail but the sale was totally legit and I am still alive after going to his place.
I'm going to try very hard to make my first IC. I know I could have and should have bought two rolls but right now I think the 50' will serve me well.
