Yeah, there it is. Darkest pale wheat ale I've ever seen.

My lame semi-hint referred to the fact that a brewery called Local Option contract brewed out of town (Maryland). I found that amusing.

I picked up this one and Dampf Loc from the clearance rack at the bottle shop. It was the first I've seen of Local Option in KY. Both were so-so, BotK slightly better of the two. Biscuit and caramel malt backbone with a lot of citrus and herbal, almost tea-like hops. Neither were bad for the price, but I wouldn't really go out of my way to pick it up again.

Okay, here is a collaboration brew from Bend that went to benefit something this summer. The one brewery is sort of a new one in Bend, and the other is from California and a titan of the craft beer industry. Is that enough hints for ya?!

Er nevermind, I thought it was an Ommegang glass (I have one that looks very similar), then I looked closer. And I think they're damn close to nationwide anyway.
