Been brewing extract a little over a year now. I've had some good batches and a lot of bad. I've learned a lot about fermentation and infections and I've learned ways to fit the upgrade in my budget. I got a free cooler from a vendor at work, and I've rigged my large closet into a fermentation chamber. my final extract kit arrives tomorrow, after i brew that im making the jump. Extract has been great, and is under rated in my opinion. But i like the idea of having more control and putting more time/effort into this hobby. SWMBO cant even give me **** because im the one who cooks in and cleans the kitchen.

Doesnt sound very promising for me that you have had more bad batches than good. Im a new brewer and cant afford to throw away the cost of these kits. Anyhow congrats on the jump to AG hope it goes good...on a side note...the guy with the beard is gonna win...lol inside joke!
