Thrifty RIMS canister from Nor Cal Brewing Solutions

Did you go with the 1500 watt long or short? I measured my 1100 watt and its 12", which makes me think I could fit the longer element.

What wire gauge did you choose?

I went with the short one as I wanted to get the element further away from my temp probe. So far it seems to work pretty well. Like augie said slowing the flow down helps too. I used 12 gauge wire that I got that from brewhardware at the same time.

I have had a lot of questions about this if its in stock not in stock are we able to get the 220 VAC element etc.

And then yes we finally were able to source the 220 VAC elements. I think we have 10-15 of them available at the moment.

Gonna resurrect this thread just for a minute. We have been selling the HECK out of these in the last few months. I have received several calls and Emails about 411 about testing ETC and I have been directing people over to this thread. Good stuff here! You guys ROCK!
