I'm trying to create something that will be light and not too alcoholic, but still be flavorful and fairly bitter (I'm a hop head). Here's what I came up with:
3.5lbs LDME
12oz british pale malt
12oz british crystal 50L
.5oz n. brewer 60min
.5oz n. brewer 45min
.5oz n. brewer 30min
.5oz n. brewer 15min
1oz kelt goldings 15min
1oz kent goldings flameout
According to the beer recipator:
Color: 9srm
Bitterness: 46ibu
OG: 1.036
Est. FG: 1.009
ABV: 3.5%
So this seems to fit the bill. I am a little worried that this might be too hoppy for this kind of beer though, but I do like hops more than a lot of folks.
What do you guys think?
