I'm wanting to brew something light for my BMC friends. I do not have a way to lager, so im going to use kolsh yeast and ferment as cool as possible.

4.5# pilsner malt
4.5# 2 row
1# flaked corn

1.75oz saaz (60)
.5oz. Saaz (10)

Mash at 150 for 60 min
Boil for 90 min

According to hopville the IBU's are 21. I thought about bumping the 10min addition up to a full ounce. That would give me just over 26 IBU's.

i think around 21 IBU is good for BMC fans, but another .5 late hop addition wouldent hurt. Or even making the extra .5oz a dryhop

Still debating on whether i want to add that half ounce or not..lol...might add it at flame out and tell them its triple hopped...lol
