I just bought a johnson controls thermostat. It is designed to be placed in a fridge to cool wort. I am interested in changing the internal wire to run a space heater. Which wire do I move inside the controller to the leftover terminal?

BTW Beer is boiling need help ASAP.

Thanks

If you have the digital controller (A419 series) see cgproducts.johnsoncontrols.com/MET_PDF/125188.PDF
If you have the analog one (A19AAT series) I think it can only be used for cooling.

Appreciate the input sir,

I found that it is the Black (ground) wire that should be switched to the unused female terminal. It can be used to cool or to heat and stays rather close to true temperature. I recommend it wholeheartedly.~Lg
