Anybody mind being a trustee / proxy for me this weekend for the Funk Factory release?

Can send you the PDF's of the tickets, and either workup a pickup or send a label and some thank you beers for the assistance. Finding myself double booked at the last minute unless I can make the ride up to Madison on Friday afternoon.

Thanks folks!

In Green Bay for the night.. anywhere specific food or drink I need to check out?

defaults are Titletown & Hagemeister Park for beer + dinner. Titletown is you really want to drink their beer. Hagemeister Park if you want a much better tap list. food is about the same.

The Cannery is right next door to Titletown's new tap only spot (across the parking lot from the restaurant proper). they have really good food, should have some decent taps.

Badger State is the best brewery in town. their tap room oughta be open today. that's near Lambeau. there's a new place way out on the east side, Noble Roots, that's pretty good. small space.

otherwise, straight bars, i'd say Ned Kelly's downtown is probably the best bet for a good taplist.

keep in mind this is Green Bay. you're not going to find anything shocking on tap. by that i mean you won't wander in to Ned Kelly's and have 2013 Expedition on tap, right next to Fantome Automne or something.

whereabouts are you staying?

Listening to a podcast at work and heard this about the recent Black Gold and 19 events.

BG had 500 tickets available. They had 80,000 clicks.

19 had 2,000 tickets available. They had 200,000 clicks.

Clicks not unique IP addresses. Guess I feel a little better and not getting BG tickets.

Hi Guys, any hints on where I might be able to get bottles of Central Waters BBABW in Madison?

FYI - Those places are in Milwaukee. Thought you were looking in Madison. Given how late it is, I'd look at smallish stores in the burbs around Madison. If you end up in Milwaukee, definitely call first.

Saw some at Riley's in Madison last night.

2018 anniversary party is going to be impossible to get into.

Is anything going on at Funk Factory over 11/3-11/5 levifunk or anyone? I'll be in town that weekend and want to stop in at least once and I'm hoping to avoid any crowds.

Different Meerts releases the week before and the week after. I'm not aware of anything that weekend, but you can always check facebook (which they keep fairly well updated).

Just came in to post the same thing, one of the best pieces I have read from goodbeerhunting. Amazing to see how far levifunk has come since that original barrel in the basement we sampled back in the day.
Very proud of him, and then I see posts like this and still wonder what he thinks he is doing:

I hope it turns out awesome.

Craziest thing in that is that he keeps his day job. I thought for sure he would have given it up by now. Between that, the bar, the beer, and family. Yikes.

He hired a tap-room manager and an assistant brewer to help keep everything running smoothly... nevertheless he's still wearing a lot of hats.
