I'm a bit naive on the whole Green Flash / Alpine thing, but is Green Flash sending bottles and kegs of Alpine*, or just kegs?

Based on the rollout in Chicagoland I'd imagine just kegs for the time being. As far as I've heard the bottles are still being done at Alpine.

I feel like the only new brewery and/or new entrant in WI I'm buying in any real quantity is Ballast Point. Seems like they have been able to keep stuff fresh(ish). Honeymoon will probably end soon.

Hopeful that Surly will stay fresh on the shelves. Love me some Furious. Then again, I saw Karben4 bottes at Sendik's WFB yesterday. (Block Party I think.) If we had fresh bottles of Fantasy Factory regularly, not sure how much Surly I would buy.

Agreed. Plenty of IPAs already available. The only style I feel we're really lacking in is quality saisons.

Looks like Metropolitan and Uinta are now distributing to WI. Milwaukee area anyway.

Both will probably get lost on the shelves, but I do love me some Metropolitan.

Rolling through the state tommorow from MN to Chi. Thought about popping in at NG but those hours... Done at 4? Ug. Are hours diff for this new release? If not I guess I'll miss out.
Looking for great recommendations along the 94/90-39 route. I'll be in the car a loooong time so quick stops off the highway preferred.

Done at 4 pm. They've always closed at 4 pm AFAIK. Even back when they only had the Riverside brewery.

Definitely hit Casnova's in Hudson after you cross into WI. They had a **** load of Toppling Goliath two weekends ago amongst a bunch of other great stuff.

FEUO It seemed like they had the NG stuff priced a bit higher than other places thru WI, so wait till you hit a Woodmans around Madison for your NG haul.

EDIT: Woodmans also does a slight discount on full cases, in case you were planning on bringing back a bunch of Berliner or something.

I got there at 8, maybe 80 or more in line. Didn't give out #'s this time. If I go Saturday I'm getting there earlier I think. Still think it's gonna be a lot of people.
