i sad screw it to grabbing the tickets ip via lines lines lines. i'll try the lotto or buy them off someone.

I was thinking the same thing this year, but I have the shittiest luck with regards to raffles and lotteries and as I need to purchase x2 tickets I'll be headed up.

Was a good time with lurchingbeast last year and hoping that this year will be the same.

No, poor guy though, I think he was just a few in line in front of us. He was extremely wobbly right before 12, not noticing when he was bumping into people, etc. I heard his story was that a few of his Chicago friends were supposed to meet him, to hang out in line, but bailed. So, I guess that he soaked his misery in beer.

He did seem to hang onto his Surly Furious pretty well through the part of his ordeal that I witnessed. When we left, he was hanging out the corner of the property, sitting on a guardrail, rocking back and forth.

He was # 110 and we were 113-116 at Vintage. Not a bad night but I am ready for bed now.

143 here

friend of mine and his buddy were chatting with that guy as i pulled out of the parking lot to head home. curious to find out if he got tickets.

We didn't as the only things that sounded interesting were sold out by the time we got processed, but I was pretty impressed with their draft offerings at last year's Great Taste ticket sale.

the only things that looked...... remotely drinkable... were the couple RIS's on their list. and at $15 per given my past experiences with their beer i just couldn't pull the trigger.

was curious how many people bought that imperial pumpkin rum rhubarb maple gose or whatever the **** abominations they were selling

I felt bad for the owner (?) who was definitely giving everyone the hard sell on purchasing some of the bottles from them. I like hanging out there for tickets the past couple of years, but I'm already spending $120 (plus gas and other expenses for the weekend) and don't necessarily want to spend anymore on bottles I wasn't planning on buying beforehand.

ouch. was he the heavy-set dude at the door with button up brewery shirt on?

Skinny guy with tattoos who was helping folks when they arrived overnight / cleaning up / directing folks. When I got my tickets he was sitting on a bar stool by the Great Taste volunteers.

Had I not had the conference call, I would have been out of there at about 9:10, bottles in hand.

Hard to drive with your laptop open.
