When I got started of course the 7.99 shipping sold me. BUt yea a lot is overpriced

Allan, enjoy that is one of the best homebrew books out there in my opinion. Very informative. I still have my copy. I buy stuff on here and Craigslist and then realize I have duplicates of items. I have a few more books that I have duplicates of. I'll offer them to the 2500th post on here.

I never used Northern Brewer. When I started ordering online I used Midwest and then went to More Beer they had a warehouse in PA and 7.99 flat rate shipping

The problem with the discounted shipping online is it never includes whole sacks of grain. After you add in the shipping cost there grain isn't a great deal anymore. I buy my bulk grain on a group buy on here and at one of my lhbs.

I can't buy #50 of grain online. Too costly. My, "lhbs", carries #50 of 2row. Not sure if they mill it or not, but if not, I can mill it myself....or will soon be able to do so.
Yeah there grain price is cheap but the freight kills it.

Keep checking Keno. They always have stuff on sale.
I want the aih 8 g. buckets. They are cheap and with brew in the bag or pretty much any process once you account for trub you need a little more volume to make life easier imo.

Wow, it's been a long week in Kansas. The drive was fine, but the I got informed that there was no one to get my oldest son at the airport 2-hrs away. Then his flight was delayed
yada, yada, yada.
Anyway, back home with a reasonable schedule for a while! Glad to be back. Lots of posts to catch up on!
Gotta hand it to Bama, as much as I dislike them, they had Clemson's number in the first half. I'm hoping Dabo makes the necessary corrections!
