I preemptively appologize that this is a bit off topic but I figured this is where I'll reach the most locals. However this request is intended to get me out to Vermont more often.

Anybody have any a connections/family/friends at Keurig Green Mountain? Or any other VT company that might be running the ERP software SAP?

If so please PM me!

I think Lost Nation is worth the quick stop. 8 beer sampler for 8 bucks. All low ABV. Takes like 20 minutes to kill it while smelling smoked meats. You'll be driving right past it between Waterbury & HF anyhow. The Wind was one of my favorite beers from our trip last week.

Lost Nation is where I always stop for lunch when I go to HF and am staying in Waterbury. Good barbecue, halfway between the two spots, low abv beer. It's a perfect pit stop.

I was up last week, and I think your visit to Fiddlehead might be perfectly timed for a can release of Mastermind on Saturday. No idea what time they start or how long things last.

Yeah, the can release is Saturday at 11:30. We talked about going but I think we're going to visit them Friday instead to we can get up to Hill earlier on Saturday. Cans would be nice, but we should have some Treehouse and hopefully Heady already.

Best place to grab some baguettes in the Greensboro area? How about a shop with a good cured meat & local cheese selection?

Making my yearly trip with the boys next week. We stay in Greensboro, but normally stop in to Montpelier for provisions at Hunger Mountain on the way. Not making that stop this time around.

Debating on doing a short tour in VT on July 15-16 (I'd need to leave VT by around noon... need to get back to Boston for my flight home). I noticed there's a Vermont Brewers Fest that weekend... it's pretty much sold out (except for a Friday early afternoon thing, which I MIGHT be able to make).

How worthwhile is the fest? Are the breweries pretty much shut down because of the brewers fest? Will Hill Farmstead be open that weekend? That's my only must visit spot, but there are tons of would like to visits. I also wanted to stop by Prohibition Pig. Also looking for a place to stay.. I saw on page 1, The Old Stagecoach Inn might not be a bad place. If I goto the Brewers Fest, the Sheraton in Burlingame looks good? I dunno.. this is a pretty last minute trip, and there are way too many things to do in Vermont for a 1.5 day trip.

I know I won't be able to drink as much as I would like, so any good places to get beers to take home would be great. I'm not a huge beer trader anymore (and I don't really pay attention much to non-san diego beer), so honestly I don't even know what the new things are to do in VT. I know back in my trading days, Lawson and HFS were a big deal, but Lawsons used to only be available at the Montpelier Farmer's Market... that's changed now right?

Also... I don't really plan to bring beers for IP trades, but if there's enough interest in it, I could probably squeeze in a few bottles. I don't have much of the trending beers, other a couple bottle logic releases (Ground State and Fundamental Observation) and some vintage stuff like Veritas 10-17, etc... but I'm not super interested in checking a bag, since I'm pretty sure all my coworkers are not gonna be happy waiting around at the baggage carousel with me when we land in Boston. I'd only really be interested in maybe some of the limited HFS beers like the 6 years or something like that. Even if there's no trade, I'd be down to meet people for some beers, although I guess I'm a little short on time :)

Fest is a blast, we go every year but we also live here. It is a great opportunity to try a ton of VT and Quebec brews. Don't go expecting anything 'rare', not really that type of fest, though a lot of Brewers do bring random one offs and most of the brewers don't have huge distro's If you want to go to another session you may be able to find tickets day off just walking up and down the line. Any of the downtown hotels are stumbling distance and are all pretty nice.

The breweries all stay open but are a bit busier then usual. Getting things like heady topper (unless the new brewery is open) or sip of sunshine will probably be hard that weekend.

I'd recommend also checking out zero gravity (at flatbread or pine st taproom), foam brewery or farmhouse while in Burlington.

Shoot me a pm if you have any q's

I second stopping at Foam and either Zero Gravity location

Sadly, I doubt there are any left out there as they've stopped delivering them. I was up about a month ago and most places were running low.

Anyone know any specific spots to get some heady in the Burlington area
Spending part of day here and hoping to snag a few
