I have finally reached a turning point in my brewing. When sampling my wares I have always said not bad, not bad. Well the turning point is this. since implimenting a few changes I no longer say not bad. Now I say OMFG this is really good beer. May all reach this point and never look back. PROST

sorry for huge delay b4 ansewring. besides going ag. implimented starsan(loving it) longer time in primary. i used to take a reading as soon as the bubbles stopped if the gravity was in i either bottled or went to 2ndary. now it sits in primary a minimum of 1week after the bubbles stop. better bottle cleaning(for those i bottle) got my keg setup working right.

I find that I make seasonal beers based on the temperature of my house. The winter is perfect for fermenting in the mid 60's so I try to load up the pipeline of Pale Ales, IPAs and Porters. The summer I usually reserve for Wheats and Saisons because the temps in my fermentation closet are a little higher.

Since focusing on pitching temp and at least moderate temperature control via seasonal selection, I have vastly improved my beer. Congrats man, Im happy for you.

Congratulations, man!
Just after I switched to high quality liquid yeast, learned about proper pitching rates and stopped using secondaries I made a dry hopped APA that was just mind-blowingly good.
My beer have steadily improved since then.
