Don't forget to get some BBQ while you are there. Their food was fantastic. Also, everyone in our group liked Bad Boy, Keene Idea, and Duet more than Nelson, though they were all pretty damn good. Bad Boy seemed to be the clear cut winner through. If they have Pure Hoppiness, it was damn good too. That was a fun day.

Oh I am QUITE familiar with the bbq, lol. I've been here for four years so I've eaten most of the menu. It's hard to beat their pulled pork...

I used to be a Duet fanboy, but over time I've definitely grown more fond of Nelson. I don't really have a reason for it, I guess. Hoppiness is a fantastic beer and I always have a hard time between choosing a growler of that or Nelson. I'm a creature of habit though, so I usually get my Nelson fill and move on.

Two growlers of Nelson and three bottles of Duet and Hoppiness make for a good day for me though!

The brewpub has moved to a much newer building a couple miles away from the original. They still do growler sells and bottle fills at the brewery, but for beer on tap or food you have to go to the new location. The new location is fine, but you feel like you're missing a bit of the Alpine experience if you're getting their beer on tap in a brand new building with *gasp* empty tables around you.

Once you move to TX you'll see Alpine* on tap. Never the same as then juice brewed up the hill.

I'm thinking I'mma go up to this Town in City Brewery tonight if anyone wants to meet up.
We're having a bottle share nearby at 7. PM for deets if interested. I do want to try that new micro brewery though. Hit me up when I come back from vacation next thursday if it's good and you wanna go again. I think you have my number.

There are krogers getting 20+ cases. It may actually outlast demand, especially in some of the more remote locations getting it.

They really did make a **** load.

I went on Wednesday. It was ehh. I think they need some time and then maybe they can improve.

Would love to join tonight but got plans that I can't get out of. Next time.

Anyone have an extra VIP ticket to Texas Craft Brewers Fest/a lead on an extra ticket? Dad's travel schedule got pushed back so he's looking to go. Can do face + thank you beers.

That the coffee place with the pizza place attached? My wife has been wanting to go there.

Yep, that's it. Technically they are separate places, but you can bring food from St. Philip into Stouthaus. I haven't had their pizza yet, so can't speak to it's quality.

A mere 12 bottles tho... prolly be gone by now. That **** aint even worth it.
Hi Hat has it tonight. WF Domain supposedly has it Thursday too. Corner at 2nd and Congress supposedly will have it tomorrow too. Should be all over on tap.

Vanilla BBH / VBBH / VBHF / whatever - it is really delicious. A few of us tried it at Hi Hat yesterday and the Karbach reps were there. They said there were going to be tappings all over town sometime soon: JW Marriott (today I think) and Waller Creek Pub were two I remember. Try some and good luck finding bottles...lots of places tweeting that they have it today but those are usually sold out within 30 minutes.

Picked up 2 from Barton Food Mart on my way home after leaving last night. $13.99.

Guessing HEBs will be getting them before the end of the week.

JW Marriott? That's a thing? lol.

Will be at Stouthaus tomorrow as my wife wanted some after seeing the bottles.

Apparently Sixpoint is pulling out or has pulled out of Austin?

You'd think with all the damn Brooklynites around it would be selling well, lol.
