Y'all got it, bruh. Lol.

Nah. But I'm gonna guess Thurs or Friday. I'm sure it won't be publicly announced when it arrives. You know how the "game" goes tho.

Pretty much. It will be cool to buy a bottle of Cantillon in TX. I just want the dregs. Lol

Pass.

I'll just wait for Oxheart to reload and grub down with some Kriek like last time.

Apparently Austin Beerworks is the #1 "new" brand in supermarkets across the entire country this year (Live Oak is #2)...

http://draftmag.com/five-2016-beer-statistics-and-why-they-matter/

... but ******* what? I've been buying Austin Beerworks at HEB since like 2011. Maybe they entered Safeway/Randalls or Walmart or some other big retailer this year?

See twitter convo between me and BeerMonkey.

Apparently it's just some stupid way that IRI tracks retail data.

Ah, so that's explained.

Although I kinda question the numbers of an organization that didn't know ABW existed for almost 5 years in retail, lol.

Got further clarification in the comments section of that article...

"The data comes from IRI’s IRI InfoScan Total US Multi-Outlet + Conv data set and Total US FOOD, YTD and 4 weeks ending August 7, 2016 data set. Multi-outlet and convenience includes grocery stores, Walmart, drug stores, BJ’s and Sam’s club (but not Costco), and convenience stores, to the best of my knowledge."

Art of the Brew in Austin is pretty much the best beer festival for Texas Brewers ever.

So many great beers and interesting art.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of great beers, especially since it's a "free" event. (I donated some money, but I don't think a donation was required.)

So.. Was thinking that there are some houstonites in this thread as seen by the discussion here, and I'm new in the area as of a few months ago. Have a pretty good selection of stuff I'd like to share with any like minded TBers out there!

Have you been by Brandon's?

Three houstonite Houstonian reponses and no one drinks bottles socially?

So FLBeerFan I don't live in Houston anymore, though I visit often, but when I did, I would frequently attend the BA Ginger Man share, second Sunday of every month. It's open to everyone, it varies in size between 4 and 50 people (11/12 months, it's about 10 people), and there's tons of great beers and great people.
