Is it really for used equipment though? New stuff wouldn't be much more than that would it?Man, $250k for all that equipment is a steal.
Edit: NVM didn't click the link to see it included 5 30 bbl fermenters.

I too found the mention of including the brand to be laughable.Depends what it includes. If they own their kegs, that alone is a good chunk of change. Plus add in keg cleaners, glycol, grain mill, water treatment, bottling line, etc.
What i find funny is when they include the "brand". The brand doesn't have much value if you are going under, obviously you are not a renowned establishment.
Hopefully it gets snatched up by someone that will put it to good use.
The brewery closures are certainly happening a bit earlier than I thought.
Do I!?Iron Butterfly started in San Diego. Do you even In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida honey, bro?
Man, you guys are stoopid, slightly stoopid as in ob/sd finest.
Reggae scene has always been good in san Diego

Tom Waits, he even wrote San Diego Serenade.
Would be tops on my list if he counts. Wasn't born here but spent his formitive years in SD.
I liquidated my collection over the past year. I have a small wine fridge (approx 100beer bottles mix of sizes will fit) that splits duty as homebrew fermentation chamber and cellar temp bottle storage. Then I have a small fridge for over flow/ main beer fridge. I've stopped buying bottles to "cellar/age" my pendulum has swung to keep beer cold and drink fresh.Don’t want to detract from #TalkMusic, but whats the most economical way to store around 340 bottles at home? Brought back our beers from a 22mile away $600/year wine cellar back home now that we’ve finally have space. Don’t want to spend thousands.
Is a fridge really necessary or would having shelving to store them with my AC set to 70F all the time be fine? Is 55F really be significantly better? If so, what are you all doing for cellaring (at home)?

I saw an empty locker in my offsite last week over by O'Briens. Locker prices vary in there based on location and size. That one is probably like $30 a month? Should hold 20 cases. Place is called Cold Case.
There are lots of options for refrigerated home storage but it really depends on appearance. If you're willing to put something in the garage you have cheaper choices (repurposed fridge or chest freezer w temp controller or even a coolbot controlled walk-in or closet) as opposed to more expensive wine cabinets inside. Thanks, but want my beers at home, even if it means room temp.

So do you all recommend against 70f then? What if I just did metal shelves? I never turn off my AC. My whole house is a cellar.

Wouldn't running your AC all year long be more expensive than a buying and running a fridge? Are you just looking for an excuse to run your AC all year long?
We have an 8x12 walk-in in the garage. It cost about $1200 in materials. If you only need room for 300+/- bottles, you could do half that size or less. Easily saving a couple of hundred dollars.
Is there a guide about this somewhere online or are you just a handy man? I’m pretty lacking in the do-it-yourself handyman department, but if it’s idiot proof and not going to take a year (for me) to do, I’d try it.
It really depends on how long you're keeping things and what they're worth. Colder is better but obviously money and time are real limits. So do you all recommend against 70f then? What if I just did metal shelves? I never turn off my AC. My whole house is a cellar.
