Ummm, I was highly considering barrel-night, but now that LA released what V020 is, I have my reservations...

Veritas 020 - Oaky brew housing a blend of wine-barrel aged beer with boysenberries and cherries along with a bourbon-barrel aged quad.
Cuvee de Tomme: Judgment Day

but not something I'd want to blindly commit to four bottles of.
Careful...

That was pretty much my thought, a riff on CdT. Could actually be good depending on how the blend is executed, but not something I'd want to blindly commit to four bottles of.

Well, I didn't want to do it, but I grabbed a ticket anyways. Not doing a lot for SDBW this year so might as well go big for one event and then drown my "wtf did I just do?" sorrows at Alesmith afterwards in 12-20 different variants of speedway.

I think the only SDBW thing I'll do is Woodshop. That counts, right!?

It'll very likely be the best event of SDBW, so it counts for anyone who's more concerned with quality than the SDBG's arbitrary classification of events.

That and the Speedway Grand Prix are the only events I plan to do. I also keep an eye on TigerTiger's events, they've had some awesome guided tastings over the years and they're never a shitshow. Other than that, I'm over SDBW.

In for Barrel Night, Woodshop, & Bankers. Probably doing Grand Prix as well. Man that's a lot of $$$. I'm perfectly fine with LA mixing things up for a change. There's been endless stone fruit sours in the series, pandering to all those who missed the boat on Yellow Bus (YesImStillTalkingAboutYellowBus). Plus, can't stop now. Already got 15 of the 20 for my vert!

I can't hang onto them to have that kind of vert....think I only got '09 (ugh) to '19 right now. I too was bitching about the stone fruit, but when 019 came out and it was raspberries, I did a little dance.

I've really enjoyed most of the series including 011 (#BiL), and I've tried all but 001 & 005. 009 was gross, though I know some here love it. #Fetish
009 had dramatic bottle variation, I had both bottles that were awesome and ones that were terrible - basically right after it was released.

Lucky you, I don't think I even know wtf the intended taste was suppose to be. Never had a good bottle.
