With a lot of breweries pushing cases, it seems like we'll see a drop in specialty one offs.

I always figured that the one-offs were with ingredients that they had the extra cash to purchase from tasting room sales. So I definitely agree with you while having zero knowledge of how budgets are made from various breweries.

#fuckit bought a case of Reality Czeck. it was only $8 shipping, which seemed weird since a case of D&T was $25 shipping

Edit: Odds are I will receive an email asking to adjust the charge to the proper shipping cost of 25 flat rate. Regardless, still a case of reality czeck to my house.

My case of Reality Czeck arrived Saturday morning. At dinner I gave one to Mrs Riko, who has a strong preference for IPAs, and she said she didn't like it. For a moment I worried about having to drink 23 cans myself, but as I kept drinking that first can I realized it wouldn't be an issue. Then later in the evening, Mrs Riko took a sip of one I was drinking, said she liked it just fine now that it wasn't with food, and went on to drink two cans herself.

Now I'm wondering if I should've bought two cases haha.

Yeah, I'm this close to buying that mixed case with D&T.

I initially was taken aback because I didn't know this was Saaz hop'd, and it's pretty rare to taste that spicy character in beer these days - but then I took 3 cans in one sitting without even thinking about it.

Drank RC and D&T back to back yesterday afternoon. So good! The lack of beers like D&T around have me preferring it over RC.
How does it compare to Eppig's Schwarzbier? That's one of my favorites from them, precisely for that reason.
