When you've finished using a beer, it's gone? If I bought milk online and it was bad when I got it, I'd just get a refund. They wouldn't want the carton back.

The only place I've returned perishables to besides Modern Times and Alesmith is Costco and yes, they want the container back. I've handed them blackberries that had developed white fuzzy ecosystems after only three days. I definitely wish they'd just take my word for it, but I understand why they do otherwise.

Speaking of that, I need to return some fruit I bought last week. Kiwi and Apricot, both hard as a rock with no flavor. Costco produce is so hit and miss.

Seems like it is much worse this year. I returned a box of peaches after they went from rock hard to moldy in two days.

Oh yeah, if you travel down to MT to get a fill of the BA MP w/ BA Maple...prepare to be sticker shocked. That **** was pricey. But then again, I will assume a bottle is going to run 30ish...so I got 10more oz for less monies.

Grumbler cost was $25 for that beast.

The grumbler prices that give me sticker shock are the ones at Abnormal. Yikes. That stout w/ strawberries was $22 to fill 32oz. Turbidity Batch 2 is $15/32oz, which makes it more expensive than the cans will be? Mikkeller is pulling that crap, too, with the Viking growlers. 64oz only, usually only after the IPAs have been on a month, and for basically the same price as the cans were in the first place. Maybe my math is off or I misunderstand the value of growlers/grumblers?

$25 actually seems cheap to me compared to their bottle prices. Like you said the bottle will likely be 30ish and 10 oz less. Pay more for less yay!

It would just be sticker shock if you fill grumblers there regularly with league fills. Of course they haven't had BA stuff on for league fills until now but usually we are paying 8-12. That is all. I know the reasoning for the price...and pretty sure none of us would bat an eye at it, just figured I would mention it.

Also yes jwacky the Turbidity b2 fill at Abnormal is basically double what you are paying for a 4pk in cans on sunday. If you go the full 64oz. Also glad I didn't do the beserker level at mikkeller because I don't need any more glass in the house, I also tend to let the 4pks sit in the fridge right up until the next release....so it isn't like I need additional growler fills. Gotta try and keep that weight at least level +/- a couple pounds here and there, hehehe.

<begin_olds>Back in my day I remember when $20 IPA grower fills were considered exorbitant. And Nelson was a $12 fill up the hill. Brewed in Alpine. Ain't the same any more. ******* new money. <\end_olds>

Right after mamouche, negra modelo is my favorite import beer

Tell me about it! I'm moving fairly soon, and the worst part was packing all my glassware. So far, packed 5 medium sized boxes and still got a few more to go. Just gimme a plastic red cup already (unless it looks super awesome in which case I have to have it).

Negra > Bohemia > Pacifico > Victoria > Especial > Dos Equis > Sol > Tecate

I will happily drink any of the above
Tecate cans all day

Edit: tecate can + shot of Mezcal = hnnnng
Wife and I were in Puerto Viarta last month and drank that everywhere we went. And occasionally Racia + Tecate

Did I miss an email?
No email, Monsters' Park in Handle Brook barrels w/ BA maple syrup is on tap at the brewery and League members can get fills of it. Went on tap Tuesday night and I haven't seen any announcement about it kicking yet. Instagram post said it will be in bottles later in the year.
