First mixed ferm I have tried from Off Color. They use their house funk culture on a bigger Apex Predator, whatever that is, and dry hopped with Galaxy, Kazbek and Sterling. Earthy brett on the nose and tongue, kind of grassy, and some underlying citrus tonez. Overall pretty fun for a lower priced bottle, but I don't think it would get any better with age.

Marius or what? Don't recall ever having a flat bottle...

Yep, Marius Cherry, Palomino and Moeder were all pretty much flat. Marius Plum on the other hand was incredibly overcarbed and spilled half the contents all over the floor.

I've loved everything I've had on draft at Forest and Main. Only bottles I've had were Palomino and as said above a few were completely flat and the others were Acetic. One bottle out of the 8 that I got was pretty good though.

With talk of this having some carb issues decided to crack this, all my other marius bottles were awesome. This is no exception, wonderful citrus funk, plum and plum skin and crackly perfect carbonation. I am a sucker for F&M and wish I had a never ending supply of Moeder and Dochter. Everything I have had from them has been awesome(all bottles).

The one I had was an earlier batch in smaller bottles. Probably 2-3 years ago?

Old bottles were 750s, dunno when they changed over but ISO 750ml hnng

Every time I open a Brew Gentlemen saison I wonder why I even try to trade for other saisons. Love being able to walk into the brewery and pick up a few different gems with no hassle at all.

Inquisitive Visitor, saison brewed with spelt. Light, peppery mouthfeel with perfect carbonation, little bit of funk. Hops have faded since last having it, leaving a wonderfully drinking earthy saison. Perfect beer for the warmer weather. Or anytime. Yeah, let's go with anytime.

In honor of Art Day 2016:

10/2013. Wow, one of the best Arthur I've had by far. Opened a 07/2014 a couple days ago that was a completely different beer. Still delicious as always though.

2013:
Incredibly dry, crisp finish. Nose is stone fruit, lemons, green apples. Bright acidity but not overwhelming and no bitterness.

2014:
Not as dry as the older bottle, a bit funky. Bready yeast, light tartness, a bit of spice and lingering bitterness in the finish.

The Dochter is something special. Permanently ISO.

Maybe better fresh? Seemed more Brett prominent than I remember at the expense of wine(?) barrel character? Still great, but I've liked it better previously.

Sounds awesome. :D

It's private group. Basically a lot of Pearl-clutching about canned saisons, because you can't carb them hard enough. Which certain explains why both of them release so many gushers.

Opened canned saison. No mandatory share for the counter...

**** this beer. Not real saison.

Right. My issue with the canned saisons is that they are bad saisons -- as are WAY too many of those being made by large craft brewers. Stone and Anchor saisons are unbelievably bad. They are in bottles. The issue is the beer, not the delivery mechanism.
